Well, in my Earth Day musings, I noted our use of Nalgene bottles as one way that we try to be ecology friendly by not using tons of plastic water bottles. Come to find out that they are not safe. More worrying, many plastics in our homes are not safe.
But there are things we can do. Here is a guide to green plastics and bottles.

I think that Nalgene bottle thing is an urban legend:

I'm not sure that's it's an urban myth. Nalgene themselves basically are saying that they are phasing out the bottles with BPA (which they say is definitely in the bottles) but that they believe that it's safe. Hmmm.
