To hear Molly and Leah tell it, Dylan and Chiara are all but married already. I think they would conduct the ceremony if they could. We put them on the bed for a little kick-a-poo time and I think you can see the typical baby-spit-up situation that is Chiara's outfit. Actually, maybe Dylan was more of a punch-a-poo than a kick-a-poo.
If you know how big Asher's room is, you should be impressed that we had five kids, and three adults in there including the person taking the pictures.

New to us Furniture
The only thing we agreed ahead of time to buy with our tax refunds (not the rebates - I think we're probably destined to splurge on a Wii with that) was a new couch. Well, we ended up getting a couch and chair. They aren't a matching set but they are very close in color and both micro-fiber (the chair is "duraplush" which I guess is the same).
Here are two pictures of the couch which is super comfy.
... and here is the crazy chair. It's a chaise with big padded arms and headrest and it's actually a recliner too. I bet sleeping in it would be very comfortable.

Manicures and Hair-dos: It's all about grooming
First up is a picture of Asher quite excitedly holding his sister for the first time by himself. You may note that she's wearing the burnt-orange (Hook-em!).
Saturday Will, Joey, and I went to get the new (used) couch and big chair (thanks guys!). We also took the old couch for a ride around town but that's a different story. Anyway, LD came as well and she had painted nails so Asher wanted his done too. So here's a few pictures of his manicure and painted fingernails.
And finally, yes, she will probably be pretty upset with us years from now when she finds this picture but how could I resist. You know bed head?

Asher Slinging and Vaughn
Sunday pictures
Here are some pictures from last weekend. LD and Joey came over and brought dinner as well as presents (thanks, guys). Asher's present you can see below and I just used Chiara's custom towel to dry her after her bath but didn't take a picture. Here, you can see them all playing on the couch and watching Here Come the 123s.

And here is one of my absolute favorite outfits. The onsie matches and has the same little safari animals on it as the overalls. Not to mention, look how adorable Chiara looks.

Floor time
Here's an assortment of pictures. I'll have more because we have some cute ones from yesterday. We also have a movie of Asher and Kathryn playing with the hose but I need to learn how to edit it down from a few minutes to a few seconds. In the meantime.
The three of us snuggling--Chiara in a pretty dress.
Chiara has gotten into floor time. What a funny expression.
Asher and Chiara playing and laughing.
Believe me when I say that the movie shows that Asher got even. Oh, and as Rachel said, welcome to the blog, Kathryn.

Audrey's baby blanket
Well, the cat is out of the bag, as it were now. I finally gave Audrey her baby blanket this weekend which means I can post a picture here. It was a lot of work but I really love the way it turned out. Actually, crocheting the 169 hexagons was not difficult at all but stitching them together was quite tedious. I can't say that I'd do it again but then I've said that about blankets before and then done them again so ...
The whole blanket
More of a closeup of the hexagons.

Weekend Pictures
We had an eventful weekend last weekend. First off, Asher got a haircut.
Chiara, Rachel, and I went to a baby shower on Saturday while Asher went and "hung out with the menfolks." This wasn't Chiara's first outfit but she expressed her displeasure with it in her usual way: by spitting up on it as soon as it was on.

Ezra, Asher, Chiara, and Rachel all... Well, I'm not sure what they're doing but it looked fun.

Hook-em!
I don't have any pictures at the moment to upload although I should be able to do the ones from the weekend in the next few days but I want to brag on Chiara. So last night we were going to bed. Asher was already asleep and Rachel laid Chiara on her back next to her with me on the other side of Rachel. Chaira was really awake and kicking and waving her arms around (punching herself in the eye pretty regularly). Well, I was waving back at her and moving my fingers and stuff and she was really intent on me. So I put up a hook-em with my left hand. She stared at it for 20 seconds very intently, then looked at her own hand and started moving her fingers. She managed to get her pinky and index fingers up and the middle two a little down even if she couldn't really tuck them into her palm but she was definitely making the Hook-em. We ended up with Rachel and I both making Hook-ems while Chiara tried to match us!
Did I mention Hook-em?!!!

She looked Mahvalous...
Chiara spent the day on Sunday modeling different very cute outfits. I think she changed clothes 7 times, not for pure cuteness (although that was in abundance) but because she just kept spitting up all over everything. Here are a few pictures we got in between the messy times.
Don't you love the way she's looking at Lisa Diane?
Here she and mama are laughing over something.Wow, Lucy is being petted with two feet and one hand, licking that hand, and pawing Joey back. She's busy for such a sleepy dog.
Bounce, bounce, bounce...
