Asher's 6th Birthday Party

We had Asher's birthday party this weekend. Per tradition Rachel made a special cake reflecting Asher's current interest. In this case, it was the periodic table of the elements.

It was quite an audacious and awesome undertaking and she spent about seven hours baking, frosting, and piping the atomic symbol and atomic number on each cupcake.

Asher and Chiara both "helped" frost a few cupcakes:

We set up three science experiments throughout the house and also did the mentos in diet coke experiment in the back yard.

And since the sun made an appearance for the party, the kids had a great time playing on the trampoline and play scape.
