Can I hold this?

Yesterday saw a few firsts for Chiara. She had her first bath--Asher helped as you can see. She also wore pants for the first time. Ok, I don't have a picture of that outfit but it was cute.


Asher loves to hold Chiara and keeps asking if he can hold her and when he can hold her again. He just asked if he could hold "that."

Chiara's first journey

Well, we took Chiara on a trip in the car yesterday. It will probably shock you to know that I didn't take any pictures although I can tell you she looked itty bitty in the car seat. How strange to have a rear-facing baby again. What won't surprise you? Her first trip was to Sonic. We felt it was particularly appropriate. Asher sat in the back and explained to her all about our family love for Sonic.

Mmm. Sonic...

Saturday (and Friday too)

Look at our girl's smile. She's starting to really get a personality, huh?


LD and Laura came over Friday to visit and Asher had a great time with Laura. I thought an action shot was best.

Asher has been asking to hold Chiara. Today he was showing her countries (no big surprise there).

Mitzi came today (thanks for everything, Mitz!). She brought Asher a soccer ball, which will be totally fun. And she made this beautiful quilt for Chiara. We're so lucky.
